- NAU runner Rheinhardt Harrison won the bronze medal in the 1500-meter run at the 2026 USATF Outdoor Championships with a time of 3:50.65. Another eight current and former Lumberjacks competed at the tournament: Josiah Johnson (400-meter hurdles), Cael Grotenhuis (10,000 meters), Ali Upshaw (10,000 meters), Ava Mitchell (5,000 meters) and alumni Drew Bosley (10,000 and 5,000 meters), Annika Reiss (1,500 and 5,000 meters), Alex Carlson (1,500 meters) and Elise Stearns (5,000 meters).
