Preparing for your future
Career Week
Twice a year, in October and February, our Career Week puts the focus on you and your future. You’ll learn how to present yourself online and in person, market in-demand skills, and nail an interview so that you can be prepared for Career Exploration Day—your opportunity to put it all to the test. Check out our activities calendar and follow us on Facebook for a complete list of Career Week events and options.
Career Exploration Day
Network with recruiters across dozens of well-known companies—from the Arizona Diamondbacks to Geico to Target, and more. You’ll be able to participate in mock interviews, resume reviews, and informational sessions, as well as apply for internships and full-time employment opportunities. Learn more about how you can make the most of Career Exploration Day.
Executive job shadow
Job shadowing gives you the opportunity to spend a few days with a top-level executive in your interest area. This unique exposure gives you invaluable insight into your future work environment and potential career options. We cover all travel-related expenses except for meals. Learn more about how you can plan a visit of your own.
Mock interviews
Feel confident when you interview. Set up a time to practice your interview skills and learn how to answer “Behavioral Interview Questions.” To set up an appointment call the CDO or email fcb-cdo@nau.edu.
Corporate panel
Business majors are invited to Gardner Auditorium to hear representatives from our business partners discuss their companies and open positions. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and leave resume with the panelists. Check out our calendar to join us at the next panel.
Information sessions
Companies meet with our students throughout the year to share information about available employment and internship opportunities. Don’t miss this opportunity to ask questions, network, and build your career confidence in a small group setting. Find the next information session on our calendar.
Alumni
CDO alumni are a valuable resource for current students.
