On Monday, May 2, 2022, Faculty Senate President, Kate Ellis, presented a Freedom of Expression for the Senate’s continued review. ASNAU’s Mental Health Days Resolution
On February 22 the Faculty Senate voted to support ASNAU’s Mental Health Days Resolution with a vote of 32-3-3. A senate resolution is an expression of our values and not meant to be a binding policy.
We welcome ASNAU’s attention to community mental health. At our senate meeting, we discussed how some faculty may be unable to implement excused absences. Senators asked for language to be added to the resolution that would include “other adjustments” to our course schedule. By… Read more
