Vice President of External Affairs

Hello, My name is Nico Valdez (He/Him) and I am the ASNAU Vice President Of External Affairs (VPEA). I am currently a Junior majoring in Politics and Government with a minor in Society and Law. I got my start in ASNAU my joining New Student Government (NSG) in my 1^st year at NAU, then in my 2^nd year I was elected as Senator. Now in my 3^rd year with ASNAU I am proud to be your VPEA. In this role, I facilitate the NAU Votes! Coalition, promote civic & community engagement across campus, help plan & distribute the Kiss My Axe shirts, and promote outreach opportunities for the student body. My goals for this year are to educate the student body on voting and elections, increase first year involvement on campus, and uplift the voices of the student.
