Detachment History

Detachment 027 initiated enrollment at NAU in 1972.  A very interesting Northern Arizona University’s News article (below) describes the details of how the program came to NAU.

Hall of Fame

Detachment Commander, Lt Col Brandon Doan, initiated the Hall of Fame in 2013.  Cadets and Cadre may nominate a Det 027 commissionee. Honorary inductees are also permitted but limited to one per year.  Inductees will receive a formal invitation to the Detachment’s annual commissioning ceremony, presented with the award and their picture/bio recognized in the detachment.

Qualifications

Each nominee must demonstrate unyielding patriotism, charity, loyalty, selflessly served others in distinguished duties, and led by example through integrity, honor and courage.
