Eligibility to join Talent Search:
- Attend or live in the surrounding areas listed here: target school areas
- Be a U.S. citizen or national of the U.S. or
- Is a permanent resident of the United States;
- Is in the United States for other than a temporary purpose and provides evidence from the Immigration and Naturalization Service of his or her intent to become a permanent resident;
- Is a permanent resident of Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, or the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands (Palau); or
- Is a resident of the Freely Associated States—the Federated States of Micronesia or the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
- Has completed five years of elementary education or be at least 11 years of age but no more than 27 years of age.
- 2/3 of the spots are reserved for low-income individuals who are potential first-generation college students.

- Low-income means an individual whose family’s taxable income did not exceed 150 percent of the poverty level. TS coordinators will determine eligibility.
- First-generation means that neither parent has completed a 4-year bachelor’s degree program.

- 1/3 spots are available to low-income individuals, or potential first-generation college students, or any individual in need of services.

This application requires income verification, a parental consent form and a photo release.
Your application will be reviewed by a Talent Search coordinator within 1-5 business days. If approved, your new Talent Search coordinator will reach out to you.
