Funding opportunities
Finding the right funding opportunity is the first step toward advancing your research. Explore external and intramural funding resources, search tools, and limited submission opportunities designed to help NAU faculty, staff, and students identify funding that aligns with their research, scholarly, and creative activities.
External funding opportunities
The Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) is the university’s centralized office responsible for authorizing extramural funding proposals submitted to sponsors, negotiating with sponsors, and accepting and managing awards. It has the institutional responsibility for assuring the Arizona State Board of Regents (ABOR), the public, and the federal government that the university has in-place systems and best practices for internal controls and fiscal accountability for sponsored project funds awarded to NAU.
Learn more about external funding opportunities through GrantForward and Hanover Research as well as other funding opportunities, including limited submission opportunities.
Intramural funding opportunities
The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) provides several grant opportunities for faculty, staff, and even students participating in research and scholarly activity.
