2026-2027 FAFSA processing pause

A system update will temporarily delay processing of 2026–2027 FAFSA records and financial aid documents. Processing is expected to resume by late July.

This includes delays to:

Financial aid awarding
Federal Direct PLUS Loan applications
Financial Needs Analysis (FNA) forms

If you have any outstanding financial aid LOUIE To Do list items, please submit them as soon as possible to help prevent delays in reviewing your aid eligibility.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Completing the FAFSA form is the first and most important step in securing financial aid to pay for college. Be sure to use NAU school code 001082 when filing.
