Welcome
NAU’s Merriam-Powell Research Station supports research, education, and collaboration by providing affordable housing and meeting space within 5 miles of Flagstaff, Arizona. Primarily intended to serve visiting scientists and students conducting field work, MPRS facilities are also available to educational, scientific, non-profit, and governmental organizations. The research station is an affordable location for day-long or multi-day meetings and workshops. The research station is open from April 1 to November 1; winter reservations are possible by special arrangement.
The MPRS 2-bedroom apartment is available for September 1 to December 15, 2024.
There is still availability for the remainder of the 2024 field season. We are also accepting reservations for the 2025 field season.
