Welcome to NAU’s Office of Emergency Management
Like any community, NAU is not immune to natural or man-made disasters.
Faculty, staff, students and families must collaborate to plan and prepare for all types of emergencies.
NAU’s Office of Emergency Management is committed to the safety and security of our community. Using the All-Hazards and Whole Community planning approach to build community resiliency, we strive to keep our campus prepared to respond and recover from all types of hazards.
Whole Community is a means by which residents, emergency management practitioners, organizational and community leaders, and government officials can collectively understand and assess the needs of their respective communities and determine the best ways to organize and strengthen their assets, capacities, and interests.
Community preparedness begins with personal preparedness. What have you done to prepare yourself and your family in case of an emergency?
