Funded through a National Science Foundation grant of more than $4 million, ¡MIRA!/APMS are teaming up with Arizona State University and other regional partners in a five-year effort to expand the reach of the Nanotechnology Collaborative Infrastructure Southwest (NCI-SW) to the communities of northern Arizona and the Four Corners region. APMS senior Ethan Goff received two awards for his work with the Supplemental Instruction (SI) program that provides peer instructional support to NAU undergraduate students. The two awards are the SI Excellence in Leadership and SI Excellence in Peer Leadership awards. Ethan will be graduating this fall with a double major in Chemistry and Physics and Astronomy.
APMS senior Adrián Luna was recently recognized at an awards banquet for the top students graduating this fall. He is recognized as the Distinguished Senior in the College of Engineering, Informatics, and Applied Sciences.
