Academic Program Review Timeline and Checklist

Fall 2018

  • Write Parts I & II of the Self-Study Report
  • Conduct Academic Unit Discussions
  • Submit syllabi to OCLDAA for Committee Review

Spring 2019

  • Write Part III of the Self-Study Report
  • Conduct Academic Unit Discussions
  • Select External Reviewers

 Summer 2019

  • Feedback from Dean & Vice Provost
  • Revision based on Feedback
  • Submission of Self-Study Final Draft

Fall 2019

  • Site Visit
  • Committee Review

 Spring 2020 

  • Review Recommendations
  • Finalize Academic Program Review Action Plan
  • Finalize Curriculum & Assessment Action Plan

 Three years after Academic Program Review

  • A progress report will be requested by the VPAA approximately 3 years after completion of the APR
  • The progress report should include a brief summary of progress relative to the action plan
