CHHS camps creating communication, confidence, and connection
Do you know that NAU hosts over 17,000 campers at nearly 100 different summer camps every year? Camp Chit Chat and Reading Between the Pines are two of them, unique in that they transform therapy into adventure, giving children who struggle with communication the chance to build skills through activities. Unlike others, Camp Chit Chat and Reading Between the Pines provides hands-on experience for graduate students studying communication sciences and disorders to help kids who struggle with communication, speech, reading and writing. These programs allow for active opportunities for NAU students to serve and interact in the Flagstaff community. Learn more from the video below.
