For NAU staff, students, and faculty that are looking for volunteer opportunities in the Flagstaff area, there are local organizations offering opportunities to serve outside of our national service programs.

| Sustainability Marketing and Events Coordinator | NAU Office of Sustainability | Flagstaff | The Sustainability Marketing and Events Coordinator supports the Office of Sustainability by leading communications, coordinating events, and fostering campus and community engagement around sustainability topics. | Campus Garden Coordinator | NAU Office of Sustainability | Flagstaff | This position will help maintain the NAU SSLUG Garden year-round (including summers) through various tasks such as watering, winterization, harvest, and general maintenance. The Coordinator will also work closely with the existing SSLUG student club and related organizations in Flagstaff by hosting volunteer shifts, on-campus events, and workshops, as well as assisting in club meetings, tabling, and more. | ELC | 8/17/2026 | 50 weeks |
