New Program Alert!
The NAU Center for Service and Volunteerism has been awarded $945,000 to launch Arizona Climate Resilience Corps (AZCRC). Together with the Arizona Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith, and Family, the CSV is delighted to announce that Arizona will be part of a state-led Climate Corps initiative. With a $945,000 philanthropic grant and federal AmeriCorps funding, Arizona is one of five states recently announced as part of this effort. The AZCRC project will complement the recently announced American Climate Corps and add to the momentum building to address the climate crisis across the country. Funding will support 75 AmeriCorps members dedicated to mitigating the climate crisis and building resilience in Arizona! For more information about AmeriCorps, CSV, the Arizona Climate Resilience Corps AmeriCorps program, or potential collaboration contact the NAU Center for Service and Volunteerism: AmeriCorps@nau.edu or 928-523-6395. or the Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith, and Family: Olivia Christiani – ochristiani@az.gov
