Welcoming Tasha, Corey, and Denise to Team CHER!
The Center for Community Health and Engaged Research (CHER) is thrilled to share our new members of the CHER team. This year, we welcomed Tasha Nez, Corey Gorgas, and Denise Stippick to our growing team.
We asked them to share their outlook on joining CHER:

Tasha Nez
Research Coordinator, Sr.
Yá’át’ééh! I am honored to join the CHER team and contribute to work that aligns so closely with my passion for environmental justice and reducing health disparities while serving my community, I’m excited to collaborate on research that helps create healthier, more equitable outcomes for our Native communities and beyond.

Corey Gorgas
Research Coordinator
I’m very happy to be joining the team at CHER. I get to wake up each day and put my time and energy into work that makes a difference for families and kids with autism, both locally and nationally. CHER is a leader in innovative health disparities research in the Southwest and beyond, and I’m really grateful to be a part of it.

Denise Stippick
Financial Oversight Analyst
It is great to be back in familiar territory, and I am highly motivated to rejoin the CHER/SHERC team. I am truly excited and looking forward to support each of you in any way I can.
Our center’s work is only possible through the hard work and dedication of our staff, faculty, and students. Please join us in welcoming our newest additions!
