New student Onboarding is a crucial step in your NAU educational journey. It’s a chance to familiarize yourself with campus resources and support while building valuable connections that will last throughout your academic career. You’ll also have the chance to get all your questions answered and hear from other students who have been in your shoes.

Admissions and Enrollment Services is planning a redesign of the New Student Onboarding experience using best practices and current research to meet the needs of all students.

NAU Onboarding begins with students gaining the skills necessary for a successful transition. This will be provided in online modules and webinars. The final new student onboarding experience will result in an exciting in-person Lumberjack Welcome events.

Onboarding modules

These online modules are designed to provide you with important information to prepare you for all aspects of life as a Lumberjack. Complete onboarding on your time from a computer, your phone, or other mobile device. The topics covered are essential for student success and all modules should be completed prior to arriving on campus.

Onboarding webinars

Webinars are virtual events that will be hosted live throughout June and July. Join various faculty, staff, and current students to learn more about campus life, scholarships and financial aid, get advice from our current students, and engage with your fellow Lumberjack families.

Lumberjack Welcome

NAU Lumberjack Welcome helps students get connected at NAU. All Lumberjacks can discover different ways to become a part of the campus community through a wide range of activities.
