Stable isotope analytical services
We specialize in the determination of carbon, nitrogen, sulfur, oxygen, and hydrogen isotopic composition. We have a range of mass spectrometers for specific applications and can analyze gases, solids, organic liquids, inorganics, and water samples.
Instrumentation
The lab currently houses four Thermo Electron gas isotope-ratio mass spectrometers with nine preparation devices, and three laser absorption cavity ring-down spectroscopy instruments.
The lab can determine C, N, O, H and S isotope compositions of gases (either purified or in mixtures at atmospheric concentrations), organics (solid and liquid, of plant and animal origin), inorganics, waters, and at compound-specific levels.
