Use our net price calculator<\/a> to budget for your education and identify the financial aid you are eligible to receive.<\/p>\n

Submit your FAFSA – February 1 priority date<\/h2>\n

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid<\/a> is the most important step in planning and paying for college expenses. Your FAFSA determines how much aid you can receive, and you\u2019ll automatically be considered for certain federal and institutional grants. Be sure to list Northern Arizona University (code 001082) on your FAFSA.<\/p>\n

Scholarships<\/h2>\n

We can help academically motivated students achieve their educational goals. You may be eligible for one of the following:<\/p>\n

Jacks Transfer Award<\/h3>\n

Amount:<\/strong> Up to $2,000 (statewide locations) or up to $4,000 (Flagstaff campus), renewable for one additional year.<\/p>\n

Eligibility:<\/strong> Transfer students who meet certain need-based criteria, as determined by the FAFSA.<\/p>\n

2NAU Scholarship<\/h3>\n

Amount:<\/strong> $2,000, renewable for one additional year.<\/p>\n

Eligibility:<\/strong> Students who have completed at least two terms in the 2NAU program. The program provides the most seamless way to transfer, allowing you to be admitted to NAU while you are earning your associate\u2019s degree at a participating Arizona community college.<\/p>\n

All Arizona Academic Team Scholarship<\/h3>\n

Amount:<\/strong> 100 percent of resident tuition, available for 10 consecutive spring and fall terms or 60 credits, whichever is met first.<\/p>\n

Eligibility:<\/strong> The Arizona Board of Regents selects recipients from nominations made by Arizona community colleges based on outstanding academic performance and community service. Students must begin attending NAU within one year of the award offer. Contact your community college for details.<\/p>\n

General Scholarship Applications<\/h3>\n

There are two general scholarship applications.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid application<\/a> opens mid-January and closes March 1.<\/li>\n
  2. The NAU Foundation<\/a> also awards scholarships. The application is open December and January.<\/li>\n
  3. Search a complete list of scholarships<\/a> for other available opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You can also research opportunities in your community, as many civic clubs and organizations offer scholarships.
