On 7\/20\/18, we launched the following tools across the stage.wp.nau.edu and live nau.edu WordPress networks in hopes of increasing efficiency when working on large sites and pages.<\/p>\n
The Media Replace Tool is a plugin we’ve tested and added\u00a0in hopes of saving users time when updating\/replacing existing files on their site. With this tool you can quickly replace any file on your site with a new version or new file altogether. This tool takes it one step further and updates all existing links of the old file with a link of the new file, hopefully saving users from scouring their site for hard to find files and links. Check out our quick How-To writeup<\/a> for more information on using the Media Replace Tool!<\/p>\n The Toolbar Publish Tool was added to help users work efficiently within large pages that may require many scrolls to reach specific content. A “Publish\/Update” button was added to toolbar located at the top of the editor window that appears when working within a post or page.
