{"id":5828,"date":"2019-02-20T15:30:09","date_gmt":"2019-02-20T22:30:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/web\/?page_id=5828"},"modified":"2019-02-25T09:20:23","modified_gmt":"2019-02-25T16:20:23","slug":"etiquette-within-our-team","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/web\/etiquette-within-our-team\/","title":{"rendered":"Etiquette within our team"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Etiquette within our team<\/h1>\n<p>Although our WCM Support team maintains a fairly casual presence, there are certain standards for etiquette that must be upheld in order to embody the professionalism and respect that an office setting within the University demands.<\/p>\n<h2>General interactions<\/h2>\n<p>Whether you&#8217;re addressing a Tier 1, 2, 3 member or another supervisor or team lead, here are some general guidelines to follow:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that everything is spelled correctly<\/li>\n<li>Check that your message is clearly written, avoid ambiguity<\/li>\n<li>Provide the context necessary\n<ul>\n<li>Instead of asking a team member about &#8220;that case&#8221; that they assigned you several hours ago, provide a case number, a descriptive summary, and a clearly-written question.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Interacting with your supervisors and staff<\/h2>\n<p>When communicating with any of your supervisors or staff members, take extra time to re-read your message or to practice a succinct verbal message that you will deliver in person.
