An image caption allows you to give an image a short, descriptive title. This is a useful approach when you want to explain or elaborate on something in the image.<\/p>\n
Example<\/h2>\n
The example below might be used for the climbing gym at the Recreation Center. The image caption shortcode requires an image and the label for the image formatted as Heading 4 (h4). As with all shortcodes, the order of the elements does not matter.<\/p>\n

Select image caption<\/b>.<\/li>\n
Select the alignment option. The shortcode appears in the text editor.<\/li>\n
Insert your cursor between the shortcode bookends.<\/li>\n
Enter the text for the image caption. Only use short phrases, not complete sentences.<\/li>\n
Select Add Media<\/b> to open the Media Library.<\/li>\n
Select the image and click Insert into page<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
All image captions should be a link.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Select the image.<\/li>\n
Click the hyperlink<\/strong> button from the toolbar.<\/li>\n
Enter the URL.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n <\/body><\/html>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n \n\n \n

If the image caption is not appearing or behaving as expected:<\/p>\n

Ensure that the text for your shortcode is complete, all bookends are present and each closing bookend contains a forward slash<\/li>\n
Did you associate a hyperlink with the image?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
