Upward Bound provides an annual four-week summer Academy (five weeks for Year 3 students). The Academy provides an educationally enriching program, which introduces students from our four target high schools to the university environment while preparing them academically for institutions of higher learning.<\/p>\n

During the Academy Summer Mentors will mentor a small group of diverse high school students and plan fun recreational and educational activities. You will gain residential experience and professional skills. Application deadline is March 9, 2022.<\/p>\n

In addition, you will help plan and implement training for Summer Mentors. Application Deadline is March 9, 2022.<\/p>\n Apply to Supplemental Instructor<\/a><\/p>\n The Service Learning Leaders will facilitate a 45 minute Service Learning class, transport, and supervise students at an assigned service learning site, and ensure communication among staff, students, and the site coordinators.\u00a0\u00a0The students will make a difference in their community by volunteering with a Flagstaff organization during the Academy which will help them to learn new skills and develop their own service learning project in the future.
