{"id":126,"date":"2018-03-09T22:32:58","date_gmt":"2018-03-09T22:32:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/training.wp.nau.edu\/verlinda-sandbox\/?page_id=126"},"modified":"2021-11-16T10:30:08","modified_gmt":"2021-11-16T17:30:08","slug":"join-our-legacy-of-success","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/upward-bound\/join-our-legacy-of-success\/","title":{"rendered":"Join our legacy of success"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Join our legacy of success<\/h1>\n<h2>New online UB application procedure<\/h2>\n<p>Students must be a high school freshmen enrolled at one of the following target high schools: Coconino HS, Flagstaff HS, Williams HS, and Winslow HS.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete and submit online 2021-2022 Upward Bound Application<\/li>\n<li>Both English and Spanish online 2021-2022 Upward Bound Application is available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Prior to working on the online 2021-2022 Upward Bound application, have the following documents ready to be uploaded:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Copy of parents\/guardians completed 2020 federal income taxes, pages 1-2 (Tax forms must be signed.)<\/li>\n<li>Copy of\u00a0student&#8217;s Social Security Card<\/li>\n<li>Copy of\u00a0student&#8217;s Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB), if applicable<\/li>\n<li>Copy of\u00a0student&#8217;s\u00a08th grade transcript\/report card<\/li>\n<li>Prepare your typed responses to the three\u00a0<strong>student<\/strong> essay questions (300 words each):\n<ul>\n<li>Introduce yourself, your family, and share your personal interest(s).<\/li>\n<li>What are your academic goals and future plans?<\/li>\n<li>What obstacles may you encounter when enrolling, attending, and graduating from college?
