{"id":9680,"date":"2020-09-10T10:31:45","date_gmt":"2020-09-10T17:31:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nau.edu\/university-policy-library\/?page_id=9680"},"modified":"2024-10-17T17:06:25","modified_gmt":"2024-10-18T00:06:25","slug":"covid-19-pandemic-special-requirements","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/university-policy-library\/covid-19-pandemic-special-requirements\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19 Pandemic Special Requirements"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5>Human Resources<\/h5>\n<h3>COVID-19 Pandemic Special Requirements<\/h3>\n<p>This policy sets forth each employee&#8217;s responsibility to comply with Northern Arizona University&#8217;s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Origination Date: <\/strong>9\/10\/20<br \/>\n<strong>Revised: <\/strong>Not Applicable<br \/>\n<strong>Applicability: <\/strong>All Employees<\/p>\n<p>In order to facilitate an effective response to the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, and to help protect the public health and promote the safety of both the Northern Arizona University community and those communities which host the University&#8217;s operations, all University employees at all locations are required to comply with all health and safety directives adopted by the University, including but not limited to, those directives set forth on the University&#8217;s COVID-19 website. Failure to comply with the University\u2019s health and safety directives may subject an employee to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.<\/p>\n<p>Guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (the &#8220;CDC&#8221;) and local public health authorities are likely to change as the circumstances associated with the COVID-19 pandemic evolve. The University will follow or implement as necessary official public health guidance regarding testing for the novel coronavirus and associated measures. University directives related to COVID-19 are subject to revision as additional information becomes available.
