{"id":5406,"date":"2018-12-06T14:52:58","date_gmt":"2018-12-06T21:52:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nau.edu\/university-policy-library\/?page_id=5406"},"modified":"2023-06-06T09:24:42","modified_gmt":"2023-06-06T16:24:42","slug":"hr_2-09","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/university-policy-library\/hr_2-09\/","title":{"rendered":"Time Records"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5>Human Resources<\/h5>\n<h3><strong>2.09 Time Records<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This policy establishes time record requirements in accordance with applicable federal and state law.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Origination date<\/strong>: 10\/1\/93<br \/>\n<strong>Revised<\/strong>: 1\/1\/2000, 12\/1\/2014<br \/>\n<strong>Applicability<\/strong>: All employees<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Request of Absence<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><strong><em>All employees<\/em><\/strong> are required to report absences such as vacations, sick leave, personal time off, and university business trips using approved university procedures and systems.\u00a0 Whenever possible, all absences must be approved, in advance, by the supervisor. When this is not possible, the absence must be reported as soon as possible. Time away from the normal work place for university business is not considered an absence from work but must be authorized in advance by the appropriate supervisor.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Non-Exempt and Exempt Employee Time Sheet Requirements<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><strong><em>Non-exempt employees<\/em><\/strong> must complete a time record for each two-week pay period.
