{"id":5367,"date":"2018-11-28T16:22:24","date_gmt":"2018-11-28T23:22:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nau.edu\/university-policy-library\/?page_id=5367"},"modified":"2023-06-06T09:25:32","modified_gmt":"2023-06-06T16:25:32","slug":"hr_2-05","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/university-policy-library\/hr_2-05\/","title":{"rendered":"Reclassification and Salary Adjustment"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5>Human Resources<\/h5>\n<h3>2.05 Reclassification and Salary Adjustment<\/h3>\n<p>This policy\u00a0describes reclassification and salary adjustments for Classified Staff and Service Professionals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Origination Date: <\/strong>10\/1\/93<br \/>\n<strong>Revised: <\/strong>1\/1\/2000, 6\/01\/2018<br \/>\n<strong>Applicability: <\/strong>Classified Staff and Service Professionals<\/p>\n<p>A department supervisor may request a reclassification or a salary adjustment addressing reasons other than performance or merit for a Classified Staff or Service Professional employee using procedures and forms established by the Human Resources Department.\u00a0 Performance based salary adjustments will be addressed as part of an institutional program approved by the President when funding is available.<\/p>\n<p>Under most circumstances, an employee should be in his or her current position for at least six months before being considered for a reclassification or salary adjustment.
