Time to hunker down and commit. With added mid-semester stress comes the need to take care of yourself. Everyone learns differently. Some find that hand writing notes and color coding works best for them, while others use flashcards, informational videos, or practice quizzes. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Study smarter, not harder, by studying in the way that you like best. Make the most of study breaks by doing a mindful or productive activity such as taking a walk, making a nutrient dense snack, tidying up your study space, listening to some music, or calling a friend. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These activities will get your mind off of studying for a little bit and let your mind re-energize.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Tip #4: Get help<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019re struggling with a particular class or subject, check out campus resources! NAU offers <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/academic-success-centers\/tutoring\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tutoring <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">services for several classes, both in person or online, and in drop-in, small group, or one-on-one formats. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many classes have SI sessions to attend, and office hours are always a great option as well. Self care can look different for everyone, but a few ways to practice self care include getting enough sleep, taking a bath, incorporating joyful movement into your day, doing hobby that brings you joy, or spending time with people who make you happy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remember: you got this!
