The Upward Bound Math & Science (UBMS) program at Northern Arizona University (NAU) is a federal TRiO Program college preparation program that serves high school students who are from disadvantaged backgrounds and\/or will be first-generation college graduates. The mission of Upward Bound Math & Science is to create and enhance the skills and motivations necessary to graduate high school, as well as the completion of a baccalaureate degree. The UBMS program is housed on the NAU Flagstaff mountain campus serving five target high schools in Northern Arizona. The program works with 9th-12th grade students with an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).<\/p>\n
