Student Spotlight – Nadia M 2025! Accordion Closed
HELLO!!!
My name is Nadia and I am a senior at Tuba City High School. GO WARRIORS!!! I have been a member of the UBMS program since my freshman year and have attended the summer classes for the past three summers. I found this program a big achievement in my life and so many other opportunities were opened to me, especially an early start to college life.
I have applied and been accepted into multiple universities; however, I am keeping my final decision a secret. 🙂

Hello! My name is Hazyl and I’m currently a senior at Greyhills Academy High School and I’m 17 years old? I’ve attended UBMS for three years and all in person. I honestly loved the program and coming during my first year was life changing – It was the best summer ever like in my entire life. I got to meet a lot of new people and make new bonds and honestly the best friends I’ve ever had. I really love the idea with being independent and getting that college life experience. I believe with everything I’ve learn and gain from this program it will help me succeed in college. After High school I plan to attend Fort Lewis College and it’s actually my dream school and I fell more in love with it when the program took us on a trip out there during our spring break and I’ll be attending Fort Lewis College for fall 2025?

I’m Michelle, I am a senior at Holbrook High School. During my time with UBMS they have helped me to get out of my comfort zone by making new friends (that I miss dearly) and be more adventurous, now I love to do like river trips and things that involve heights.
I have been accepted into 10 different colleges but due to the great experiences I had with UBMS during the 3 years I been with them at the campus of NAU – I know that NAU is the place for me.
When I got my early acceptance letter from NAU, I accepted immediately. I will be majoring in Secondary Education of History and Social Studies so that I can become a high History teacher.

I got accepted into NAU the 3rd week of August because I had applied earlier than most people do. I plan on majoring in Nursing and with my acceptance letter I had received the Presidents tuition which is $9,000 per semester.
