Undergraduate Researchers from the Traustadóttir Lab Present at a National Conference
Hannah Beskind, a recipient of a Hooper Undergraduate Research Award (HURA), and Nadja Jones, a RISE Fellow, presented a poster at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research held in Atlanta, GA in April 2019.
They presented preliminary data from their collaboration on the effects of combining acute exercise with phytonutrient stimulation done ex vivo on blood samples taken before and after the exercise. This project will continue testing additional subjects this summer.
