Canvas Open Labs, Workshops, and Support for Faculty

Canvas is the primary learning management system for all courses at Northern Arizona University. We encourage all faculty to access the Canvas instructor training resources below.<\/p>\n

Self-Enroll in Canvas Essentials<\/a><\/p>\n

Canvas Essentials <\/i>is a course for faculty to learn the basics of Canvas<\/span>.<\/span><\/i> It is an asynchronous online training in which participants move through seven modules. Each module will engage participants in learning activities, checking Canvas knowledge, and practicing Canvas tasks in a companion Canvas shell. The total time expected to complete the Canvas Essentials<\/em> <\/i>training is six hours. Successful completion of Canvas Essentials<\/em> and module quizzes with a score of 9 out of 10 for each will make completers eligible for a digital badge that verifies training completion and acquisition of foundational Canvas skills. <\/p><\/body><\/html>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
