Online Onboarding modules will be available for students to complete before the semester begins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Is Onboarding required?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Onboarding is required for student success. All first-year students should complete the online modules in Canvas designed to ease their transition to college.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong>What will be available for students and families before the semester begins?<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will have access to online Onboarding modules through NAU\u2019s Canvas system.\u00a0These modules are designed to provide critical information (e.g. financial aid, required vaccinations, JacksCard, etc.) students will need to prepare for their first semester.\u00a0New and previously recorded Lumberjack Family Chats and webinars will introduce you to NAU staff who will answer your questions about your student&#8217;s journey to becoming a Lumberjack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Will there be Onboarding programming specifically for parents and families?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, new and recorded webinars are available to view. For updates about Onboarding and to receive information specifically designed to prepare families for their student\u2019s first year as a Lumberjack, we encourage you to sign up for <a href=\"https:\/\/families.nau.edu\/users\/sign_up\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/families.nau.edu\/users\/sign_up\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Lumberjack Family Hub<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How much does onboarding cost?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All Onboarding events and services are free.
