{"id":359,"date":"2017-08-14T16:41:32","date_gmt":"2017-08-14T16:41:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/spac\/?p=359"},"modified":"2023-09-07T22:49:53","modified_gmt":"2023-09-07T22:49:53","slug":"fall-2017-notes-from-the-chair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/spac\/fall-2017-notes-from-the-chair\/","title":{"rendered":"Fall 2017 Notes from the Chair"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Change is happening all over campus, including the Service Professional Advisory Council.\u00a0This year the Service Professional Advisory Council (SPAC) and the Classified Staff Advisory Council (CSAC) have combined our meeting times, which, will be beneficial to both our speakers and our council members.\u00a0We\u2019ve added brief networking time to our meeting to give everyone an opportunity to meet new people across campus.\u00a0Our meetings occur from 8:30 &#8211; 10:00 a.m. on the 3rd Thursday of every month (except March).\u00a0You can find the locations, agenda, and past meeting minutes on our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/SPAC\/Meeting-Schedule\/\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>SPAC continues to do a lot of good for our campus and community.\u00a0This year the Service Professional Advisory Council adopted a new trail off of Pine Knoll Road and we held our first ever LOUIE&#8217;s Cupboard drive to benefit our students here at NAU in need.\u00a0With the holiday season coming up, we will once again adopt a local family through St. Vincent de Paul.\u00a0More details on the family and the wish list will be sent out in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in representing the over 880 Service Professionals on campus, we have seat open!
