nurses have seen first hand COVID-19&rsquo;s inequitable impact on the communities they serve.&nbsp; Nurses also have experienced first hand COVID-19&rsquo;s inequitable impact as a profession with nurses being more likely to die from COVID-19 than are other health care professionals, and nurses of color are far more likely to die.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, we have seen how nurses represent powerful and vital agents in advancing health equity.
