A new $3 million NSF grant will support recent graduates seeking research opportunities and career training in Southwest climate adaptation. Primarily from Indigenous and Hispanic/Latine backgrounds, fellows will work on a research project co-developed with Tribal communities, as well as engaging in mentoring, networking, and career development activities. PhD student Eva Baransky (Earth & Environmental Science) is one of two awardees nationwide of a Mineralogical Society of America Research Grant.
