These three departments may seem similar, but they manage different things. Learn how each department can assist you.<\/p>\n<h2>Student and Departmental Account Services<\/h2>\n<p>We, the Student and Departmental Account Services (SDAS), will help you with most issues involving payments and fees. You may know our department by our former name, the Bursar.<\/p>\n<p>More specifically, SDAS helps with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>billing and payment for tuition and fees<\/li>\n<li>setting up tuition payment plans<\/li>\n<li>emergency loans<\/li>\n<li>tuition refunds<\/li>\n<li>setting up direct deposit<\/li>\n<li>collections and delinquent accounts<\/li>\n<li>1098-T tax credit information<\/li>\n<li>third party or sponsored billing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid<\/h2>\n<p><a title=\"The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid\" href=\"https:\/\/nau.edu\/FinAid\/\" rel=\"noopener\">The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid<\/a> is the place to go to find out how to apply for and manage your need- and merit-based financial aid, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>scholarships and grants<\/li>\n<li>loans<\/li>\n<li>Federal Work Study (FWS)<\/li>\n<li>FAFSA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will generally start with filling out the <a title=\"Free Application for Federal Student Aid\" href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/h\/apply-for-aid\/fafsa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Free Application for Federal Student Aid<\/a> (FAFSA) but some scholarships have separate application processes.
