Each state has its own requirements for the licensure process, however many include licensure at the associate and independent levels. Licensure establishes requirements to demonstrate specific competencies applied to practice settings as demonstrated through graduation from a CSWE accredited program. This requirement of licensure elevates social work as a professional practice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Public Disclosure: Professional Licensure by State<\/p>\n<p>Upon graduation, licensure can be a next step in your professional career. <strong>Each state has its own requirements for the licensure. <\/strong>Licensure establishes requirements to demonstrate specific competencies applied to practice settings as demonstrated through graduation from a CSWE accredited program.
