This can include concert works or etudes.<\/li>\n<li>If interested in jazz, the student should also prepare at least 2 jazz standards, and be able to play the melody, an improvised solo, and chord accompaniment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Graduate audition requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>2 contrasting works for solo classical guitar that demonstrate an advanced knowledge of classical guitar technique and repertoire. Preferably, these pieces should represent 2 distinct historical styles.
