This ensemble continues to provide a fun and educational musical experience for wind and percussion performers. The repertoire places an emphasis on individual and musical growth, and is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>exciting<\/li>\n<li>energetic<\/li>\n<li>stylistically diverse<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Collegiate Band meets in the spring semester each year as the campus-wide concert band.<\/p>\n<h2>Join<\/h2>\n<p>No audition is required and all Northern Arizona University students are welcome to join.<\/p>\n<h3>Enrollment<\/h3>\n<p>You will need to enroll in one of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Freshman: MUP 170, Section 01<\/li>\n<li>Sophomore: MUP 270, Section 01<\/li>\n<li>Junior: MUP 370, Section 01<\/li>\n<li>Senior: MUP 470, Section 01<\/li>\n<li>Graduate: MUP 670, Section 01<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Schedule<\/h2>\n<h3>Rehearsals<\/h3>\n<p>The Collegiate Band meets on Tuesdays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in room 146 of the\u00a0Performing and Fine Arts building\u00a0(number 37a).<\/p>\n<h3>Performances<\/h3>\n<p>The Collegiate Band also presents two\u00a0concerts\u00a0each spring semester.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Collegiate Band The Collegiate Band carries on the tradition of school spirit as the first band at Northern Arizona University.
