Some are only available to NAU students, while others are available to students and Flagstaff community residents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jr. High orchestra festival&#8211;Information coming soon<\/li>\n<li>Low Brass Day&#8211;Information coming soon<\/li>\n<li>Double Reed Day&#8211;Information coming soon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Annual festivals and events<\/h3>\n<h4><strong>Concerto Competition<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Applications should be delivered to Vlad Vizireanu in the Performing &amp; Fine Arts Building.<\/p>\n<p>Be sure to review the <a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/school-music\/concerto-competition-guidelines\/\">Guidelines for the Concerto Competition<\/a> before submitting your application.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Flagstaff Piano Festival<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"font_9 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"color_11 wixui-rich-text__text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flagstaffpianofestival.com\/\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Flagstaff Piano Festival<\/span><\/a>\u00a0is an immersive experience bringing together young pianists, educators, celebrated artists, and music lovers in the inspiring setting of Flagstaff on the campus of Northern Arizona University. The Festival promotes equitable\u00a0access to concerts and music instruction\u00a0in a healthy and supportive environment that fosters meaningful community engagement.\u00a0The Festival\u00a0creates\u00a0relevant opportunities to engage, learn, grow, teach, perform, and compete at the highest artistic and pedagogical levels.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Jazz Madrigal Festival<\/h4>\n<p>The annual <a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/school-music\/performance-areas\/choral-studies\/jazz-madrigal-festival\/\">NAU Vocal Jazz Madrigal Festival<\/a>, one of the largest festivals of its kind in the Southwestern United States, features special guest clinicians and over 140 high school ensembles from Arizona and nearby states. The two-day festival includes a host concert in which choirs from NAU and professional groups of national and international stature appear.<\/p>\n<h4>Jazz Festival<\/h4>\n<p>The annual <a href=\"http:\/\/in.nau.edu\/school-music\/jazz-festival\">NAU Jazz Festival<\/a>\u00a0will feature world-class guest artists and clinicians. NAU faculty masterclasses, and many talented participating bands from throughout the region.
