<\/div>\nJulie Anand and Damon Sauer served as artists-in-residence of the Grand Canyon Conservancy during the summer of 2023. Living and working on the South rim for a month and synthesizing this experience throughout Fall and Winter, the collaborative pair will exhibit culminating projects at Northern Arizona University. The artists explored ways of representing an ineffable and widely-seen landscape\u2014withholding detail to preserve gravity\u2014using strategies including video time-lapse, interviews, and photographic prints.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n

The NAU Interior Design student group “ID Voice” presents the “Refinish Project”, a community-minded exhibition and silent auction on display in the Beasley Gallery March 29\u2013April 1 2023. Featured are restored and redesigned furniture pieces, all representing the concept of \u201creduce \u2013 reuse \u2013 recycle\u201d. The silent auction begins during the opening reception, Wednesday, March 29 from 5 to 7 pm, and continues during open gallery hours Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Proceeds from the auction benefit the NAU Interior Design program and local Flagstaff thrift shops.<\/p>\n

Feb 8 5p – 7pm, Artist lecture by Julie Anand at 6pm<\/strong><\/div>\n\u00a0<\/div>\nJulie Anand and Damon Sauer served as artists-in-residence of the Grand Canyon Conservancy during the summer of 2023. Living and working on the South rim for a month and synthesizing this experience throughout Fall and Winter, the collaborative pair will exhibit culminating projects at Northern Arizona University. The artists explored ways of representing an ineffable and widely-seen landscape\u2014withholding detail to preserve gravity\u2014using strategies including video time-lapse, interviews, and photographic prints.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The NAU Interior Design student group “ID Voice” presents the “Refinish Project”, a community-minded exhibition and silent auction on display in the Beasley Gallery March 29\u2013April 1 2023. Featured are restored and redesigned furniture pieces, all representing the concept of \u201creduce \u2013 reuse \u2013 recycle\u201d. The silent auction begins during the opening reception, Wednesday, March 29 from 5 to 7 pm, and continues during open gallery hours Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Proceeds from the auction benefit the NAU Interior Design program and local Flagstaff thrift shops.<\/p>\n
