Examples of crisis include loss of hours at work, housing emergency, a house fire, a death in the family, weather disaster or other significant events.<\/p>\n<p>Funds do not need to be paid back. Funds may count as income and may be subject to federal or state taxes. Employees must be full time and benefit-eligible.\u00a0 The maximum amount to be provided is $250 and may only be requested every four years.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are generally reviewed within 5 business days from the day it is submitted. Checks will be available for <strong>pick up<\/strong> between 7-14 days from application date. Additional time and processing may be required for those unable to pick up the check from the NAU Foundation offices.
