{"id":320,"date":"2022-06-29T22:05:54","date_gmt":"2022-06-29T22:05:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/rpsu\/?p=320"},"modified":"2022-09-03T00:14:48","modified_gmt":"2022-09-03T00:14:48","slug":"july-1-2022-changes-to-travel-reimbursements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/rpsu\/2022\/06\/29\/july-1-2022-changes-to-travel-reimbursements\/","title":{"rendered":"July 1, 2022 Changes to Travel Reimbursements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Good afternoon!<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the <a href=\"https:\/\/nau.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/Announcing-the-Travel-Service-Team-Optimization-Taskforce.pdf\">Travel Optimization Taskforce\u2019s<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/news.nau.edu\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Travel-Optimization-Recommendations.pdf\">work<\/a>, as well as approval from the University Advisory Board, a few changes to the travel reimbursement process will take place <strong>effective July 1, 2022<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>M&amp;IE Reimbursements<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Reimbursements will be made at 100% of the <a href=\"https:\/\/gao.az.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/5095%20Reimbursement%20Rates%20%20210929.pdf\">maximum allowable reimbursement rate<\/a> as defined by the State of Arizona (less any meals that were provided).<\/li>\n<li>Receipts are no longer required and should not be submitted.<\/li>\n<li>This change applies to employees and students.<\/li>\n<li>Development is currently underway to allow for a tiered percentage reimbursement rate.
