The RPSU Travel Specialists and Coordinators continue to whittle away at the remaining FY2023 travel cases. There are less than 10 FY23 cases left as of November 1<sup>st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Please help the Reimbursement Processing Support (RPS) staff continues welcome our newest Travel Specialist, Lawson Nelson!<\/p>\n<p><u>New Hires:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel Specialists:\n<ul>\n<li>Lawson Nelson<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Vacancies:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel Specialists (1)<\/li>\n<li>Assistant Manager, Academic Team: (1)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please review the following updates and reminders:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/rpsu\/nau-travel-training\/\"><strong>Travel Training<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can now view the training roster for <a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/rpsu\/nau-travel-training\/\"><em>Travel Policy<\/em> training<\/a> and Travel Booking Training on the website, the link is in the right-hand navigation column. Over 240 individuals have completed all modules to date.<\/li>\n<li>The training calendar for in-person <a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/rpsu\/nau-travel-training\/\"><em>Travel Booking<\/em><\/a> training has been updated through May 2024 on the website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/rpsu\/travel-optimization\/\"><strong>Travel Resources<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Comptroller\u2019s Office <a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/comptroller\/travel-forms\/\">travel forms and tools website<\/a> has been updated and they will continue to add resources as needed\/developed.<\/li>\n<li>In November, a Travel FAQ resource page will be live on the <a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/rpsu\/\">Reimbursement Processing Support (RPSU) webpage<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The next Travel Liaison meeting with be Thursday, November 16<sup>th<\/sup> from 1:30-3:00 PM. Email <a href=\"mailto:Melinda.Miller@nau.edu\">Melinda.Miller@nau.edu<\/a> to be added to the meeting invite.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/rpsu\/travel-optimization-metrics\/\"><strong>Metrics<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel cases without prior approval and opened post-travel (18% of all submitted cases, up from 17% last month), continue to impact reimbursement processing times.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Recent Employee Service Center (ESC) Enhancements <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/servicenow.nau.edu\/hr?id=kb_article_view&amp;sys_kb_id=753016aa877835904b6ebbf7cebb3556\">Expense Claim Approval Routing<\/a>, as of October 16<sup>th<\/sup> all expense claims are now routed through the ESC for traveler and supervisor review and approval.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Coming Soon<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel Life-Cycle Interactive Graphics outlining full travel life cycle with detailed step-by-step guided instructions on every aspect of the travel life-cycle. (November \u2013 December 2023).<\/li>\n<li>How-To Video Clips providing step-by-step guided instructions on completing various travel related processes.
