Most nanoparticles are in the &lt;5-micron size and can remain in the air, and can also can remain for longer times in closed spaces with poor air circulation. This technology provides a novel design of HEPA air filters with the capacity to filter 0.3-micron nanoparticles with filter plates that can deactivate the virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 remaining viral particles before the air is injected back into the room. The filter is coated with silver nanoparticles which have been proven to kill 85% of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
