Your diploma<\/h1>\n
In order to earn a diploma or certificate<\/a> a student must begin by applying for graduation<\/a>:<\/p>\n
\n
Students are typically eligible to apply for graduation when they have both Junior level academic status and 90 units (includes in-progress).<\/li>\n
A diploma is awarded for completing<\/a> a degree<\/a> at NAU.<\/li>\n
If you earn a certificate<\/a>,<\/u> that credential will be awarded to you in the form of a document in addition to and separate from a diploma.<\/li>\n
A $35.00 fee is charged for each undergraduate diploma\/certificate awarded.\u00a0 A $50 fee is charged for each graduate diploma\/certificate awarded.<\/li>\n
Graduation fees will be charged to your LOUIE Student Center once you have applied.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

Emphasis (students graduating Fall 16 and later)<\/li>\n
Latin Honors<\/a> if applicable<\/li>\n

*May not be printed on some diplomas due to the text being redundant to the major, emphasis and \/ or degree text.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

NAU does not print the following items on the diploma\/certificate Accordion Closed<\/span><\/h4>\n <\/span>\n <\/div>\n <\/a>\n

College from which the degree was earned. For example, “College of Arts and Letters” will not print on the diploma<\/li>\n
Minor<\/li>\n
Honors awarded from the former University Honors program<\/li>\n
Milestones<\/li>\n
Dean’s List<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/body><\/html>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

You will receive your diploma 4 to 6 weeks after the term ends<\/li>\n
Your diploma is mailed to your “Diploma” address specified in your LOUIE Student Center<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/body><\/html>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Please submit a change of name<\/a> form with the proper documentation to the Office of the Registrar, and indicate that you have applied for graduation on the form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/body><\/html>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
