{"id":212,"date":"2018-06-27T04:31:09","date_gmt":"2018-06-27T11:31:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/registrar\/grading\/"},"modified":"2026-02-11T23:38:49","modified_gmt":"2026-02-11T23:38:49","slug":"grading","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/registrar\/grading\/","title":{"rendered":"Grading Information &amp; Resources"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Grading information &amp; resources<\/h1>\n<h2>Grading schedules<\/h2>\n<p>Please see the <a title=\"Important Dates and Deadlines\" href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/registrar\/important-dates\/\">important dates and deadlines<\/a> page for the most recent grading schedules.<\/p>\n<h2>Importing Grades from Canvas to LOUIE<\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"ng-scope\">If you are using the Grade Center in <a href=\"https:\/\/canvas.nau.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Canvas<\/a>\u00a0as a place to record student grades, you can easily upload\u00a0<strong>Midsemester<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>Semester<\/strong>\u00a0grades to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/louie.nau.edu\/\">LOUIE<\/a>\u00a0without having to enter them again.<\/span> Please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/servicenow.nau.edu\/sp?id=kb_article&amp;article=KB0018031\">overview document<\/a> for more details.<\/p>\n<h2>Changing a grade<\/h2>\n<p>If grades have <strong>already been posted<\/strong> by the Registrar\u2019s Office (the deadline for grade submission has passed):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit an Electronic Grade Change form by locating the Registrar&#8217;s Office Forms tile in your faculty center under &#8220;Faculty\/Advisor Home&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If grades <strong>have not been posted<\/strong> by the Registrar\u2019s Office (before the deadline for grade submission):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can return to your grade roster to make changes.<\/li>\n<li>Change the status of the roster from &#8220;approved&#8221; to &#8220;not reviewed.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Make necessary changes and save.<\/li>\n<li>Change the status of the roster back to &#8220;approved&#8221; and save again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can do this as many times as necessary before the grading deadline.<\/p>\n<div>\n<h3>Late Grade Submission<\/h3>\n<p>Submit grade rosters after the deadline using <a href=\"https:\/\/onbase.nau.edu\/AppNet\/UnityForm.aspx?d1=ATghPI%2fMt9MV%2fjR8IfX4ZQybF4LksxRUxJB9wQ6MMt9p%2fO%2fOjUcZvAsrF2UaibacgnxwSlA%2bkXI3Z1vJphv1Cbf1lr%2bRi1jr2f4ciCrwcW5XRrQ1O0uAo3JcX%2f3T106r3qzk5uNHgVsy%2fnFSmxemnCEHJd%2fHqGsa7PGPpP2KEBiCTGt2cMrXV4LuB3%2b6lpCuQa8iWNvIcjl24guz%2bjDYgkQ%3d\">online submission*<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>*This often works best from an incognito window or after clearing cache and cookies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Grading information &amp; resources Grading schedules Please see the important dates and deadlines page for the most recent grading schedules.
