Reverse transfer refers to a situation in which students have transferred to NAU from an Arizona community college without earning an associate degree. Credits earned while the student is at NAU are transferred back to the two-year institution for evaluation and, if applicable, will be used for an associate degree conferral.<\/p>\n

Transcripts will be sent back to your Arizona community college if you have transferred to NAU with at least 15 credit hours, and the sum of the credits earned at that Arizona community college and NAU is between 60 and 100.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/body><\/html>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Why should I be interested in getting an associate degree when I\u2019m already at NAU? Accordion Closed<\/span><\/h4>\n <\/span>\n <\/div>\n <\/a>\n

By taking courses at NAU you may have already earned enough credits, coupled with your two-year institution credits, to get an associate degree and you should get credit for it. While you may have the best intentions to complete a bachelor’s degree, having another credential is a good “insurance policy”.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

If you were in the 2NAU program, you don’t have to do anything. You have already given consent. If you were not participating in the 2NAU program, but have attended an Arizona community college, make sure that you give NAU-CONSENT to share your transcript with partnering Arizona community colleges that you attended. There is no cost to you – we will send your NAU transcript back to your community college and they will check to see if you have met the requirements for your associate’s degree.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

What if I previously agreed to NAU sharing my transcript with community colleges for the purpose of reverse transfer but want to rescind my consent? Accordion Closed<\/span><\/h4>\n <\/span>\n <\/div>\n <\/a>\n

You can change you preferences of what you allow NAU to share by completing an online form and submitting to the Office of the Registrar. You can opt-in or opt-out by completing the Reverse Transfer Form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
