NAU Transfer Plans are a unique tool designed to help guide your academic journey from community college to NAU. The plan below is for the following program Associate of Arts in Elementary Education transfer to Northern Arizona University’s Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

- AGEC Requirements: Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) is a 35-credit general education block that fulfills the same lower division general education requirement at all three state universities.
NAU has specific GPA requirements for admission to the Elementary Education program. An IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is also required. Work with your Community College advisor and your NAU Transfer Representative.

- Additional courses needed to total 56 credits at NAU, 120 total credits, and complete a concentration.
NAU courses have specific GPA requirements. The above plan will lead to completion of a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at Northern Arizona University. Teaching Certification is obtained through the Arizona Department of Education.
